Dash previews

Ubuntu 19.04 Disco Dingo Desktop aims to take the effort out of everything. Now, you can preview your search results in the Dash to see more options, without having to open more windows. Preview an album in the Ubuntu One Music Store and you’ll get the option to play tracks straight from the preview. And when you preview an app in the Ubuntu Software Centre, you can install it with just one more click.

USING A CD?

You can install Ubuntu 19.04 Disco Dingo Desktop from a CD. Here’s what you need to do:
Put the CD/DVD drive into CD ROM.
Then Restart your computer. You should see a welcome screen prompting you to choose your language and giving you the option to install Ubuntu 12.04 iso download.
If facing any issue to get a menu, please search the boot from the CD ROM key.

USING A USB DRIVE?

Most of the new computer systems do not have the CD-ROM. So need to install an operating system from USB.
Make USB bootable and install the ISO file in USB. For installation of OS in the computer/laptop system.
Restart the computer system, boot from USB.
Press the F12 key to bring up the boot menu, then boot from USB.

PREPARE TO INSTALL Ubuntu 19.04 Disco Dingo Desktop:

Make sure your system is plugged into a power source.
Also, make sure you have enough space on your computer to install Ubuntu 19.04 Disco Dingo Desktop.
You should also stay connected to the wired internet so you can get the latest updates while you install OS.
If you’re not connected to the wired internet, we’ll help you set up wireless at the next step.

SETUP WIRELESS INTERNET:

During installation, you will be asked to select a wireless network, if available. Recommend you to connect during the installation so we can ensure your machine is up to date. Also, If you set up your wireless network at this point, it’s worth then clicking the Back button to go back to the last screen (Preparing to install Ubuntu Server Linux) and check to mark the box marked ‘Download updates while installing.

MAKE DRIVES AND ASSIGN SPACE:

Assign the drive’s space, keep in mind that if you have already installed data on the disk, after re-assigning the drive all data will be removed. So keep in mind, that before installation saves you data.
